No. According to the NY State Parks Department website, you do not need a Boating Safety Certificate if you are renting from a rental company. You can obtain a Boating Safety Certificate online at Boat-Ed.com.
While we love pets, we do ask that you leave them at home.
Anyone 18 years and older with a valid U.S. Driver’s License and a major credit card. We do strongly encourage our renters to have some boating experience/knowledge. You can obtain a Boating Safety Certificate online at Boat-Ed.com.
Absolutely. Just remember, U.S. Coast Guard regulations require children 12 and under to wear life jackets on any boat at all times.
We ask that all renters plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled rental time. This way all paperwork and safety overviews can be completed before your rental time, giving you more time out on the water.

We use their marina and offices, but we are technically a separate company.
Yes. Our pricing includes fuel . You do not have to worry about refueling the boat.
Yes. Depending on the captain’s schedule, we do have a captain that can be made available for your rental.
All cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance of your rental time. Any cancellations made after that time will result in a rebooking at another time convenient for the renter (based on availability of rental boats).
Cancellations made due to unsafe conditions or severe weather will result in a rebooking at another time convenient for the renter (based on availability of rental boats). (This is at the discretion of management.)
Fishing is allowed on our 2025 SVX 191 OB CC, only.
If you intend to go fishing, you MUST register with NY State to avoid a fine: https://decals.east.licensing.app/registration
Unfortunately, our insurance policy does not permit watersports from the rental boats at this time.
